Founder and Lead Consultant Michael Boucher brings an extensive 31-year background in public safety to our organization, demonstrating a wealth of experience across various disciplines. His career encompasses key roles and responsibilities that have shaped his comprehensive understanding of public safety.

Michael embarked on his public safety journey as a dispatcher for a Regional 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), overseeing the coordination of emergency services for 19 towns and 44 departments. This early experience provided him with a solid foundation in emergency communication and response.

His career continued as a Flight Communicator for an air medical program. In this role, Michael played a crucial part in facilitating effective communication during airborne emergency medical operations, showcasing his adaptability and expertise in diverse environments.

Transitioning to the front lines of emergency response, Michael served as a firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Throughout his tenure, he diligently worked through various ranks, gaining firsthand experience in every position within the fire department. His dedication culminated in his appointment as Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director, where he successfully oversaw and managed emergency response efforts.

Michael's multifaceted public safety career encompasses a broad spectrum of roles, including 9-1-1 Dispatcher, Flight Communicator, Incident Dispatch Team Coordination, Interoperability Communications Coordination, FEMA All-Hazards Communications Unit Leader (COML), TERT (Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce), Firefighter, County Fire Coordinator, EMT, Emergency Management, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Coordinator, and active participation in several Regional Emergency Support Functions (RESF).
